System to host event to highlight benefits of sharing records
The Local Health and Care Record (LHCR) programme will see health and care partners across the East of England work together to connect information and records, creating an information sharing environment that better serves our patients and population. Other areas are already working on their own LHCR programmes, such as One London.
The ICS will be hosting a professionals’ engagement event in October aimed at sharing best practice to give clinicians and practitioners like social workers better access to health and care records. This wide programme is actively supported by councils, clinicians and NHS organisations. It has grown from a good network of professionals – called the East Accord – set up in 2018 to collaborate and build relationships to be more effective and efficient to improve health and care.
